Here comes the Sun

A 3,300 year-old, gold and bronze, Danish sculpture of a chariot representing the sun, being pulled along by Dobbin, or whatever the ancient Danish word for Dobbin is.

Though I am not putting out too many words right now, I am still putting out images - worth more than a thousand of my words.

  1. You have lulled me into a false sense if security as I thought that all would be quiet on the Tom Stephenson front for a while and yet you are throwing out posts nineteen to the dozen ....... lovely sculpture though ...... just my sort of thing. How's the back doing ? XXXX

    1. Back getting better thanks, Jack@. I thought I had lulled you into a false sense of insecurity. I never promised you a desert - or a dessert.

  2. I'd rather have a thousand of your words (spread thinly over several blog posts if necessary). The pretty pics from other sources are not worth your original words.

The sooner you finish scraping that arse the better as far as I'm concerned.

  3. What is the story behind this image?

And how do you set up your comments so one can have a proper reply? I'm sure the answer is staring me in the face, only i can't see it.

    1. It's just a picture of the object, that's all. Go to settings on your dashboard, and it should explain how to set up a reply option. I've forgotten now, and have to go out.

  4. The wheels on the bus go round and round... Definitely a pre-Muybridge Dobbin.
