Dance the night away

Call me an old hippie (and I'll call you something worse), but I heard this track again tonight - the first time for about 40 years - and I have now decided that this is the tune I want played at my funeral. I used to listen to it as a 17 year-old whilst sitting on friend's carpets. Listen to the words, but don't get the wrong idea - I'm still positive!

  1. English psychedelic rock - almost as good as the US version, but different.

    1. It occurred to me last night that I am not sure if you are a man or woman (no offence!), but I would never call a woman that, so please allow me to delete it, and I'll think of something more appropriate...

    2. Absolutely no offence taken, on either count. Besides, I asked for it! Jessica

  5. Ah Tom - think this fits in very well with my post today and more or less answers my question from your point of view.

  6. And what's wrong with being an old hippy, may I ask?

    1. Actually, I was never even a young hippie. I would be allowed in to all the cafes of 1970 Glastonbury town, when my mates all waited outside for me - even though I had the same length hair. Those old ladies certainly had a nose for an old fart in the making.
