More humour

My good mate - a Geordie oil-rig worker - has just come back from another month tour of duty, and he has been filling me in about the quality of humour in his workplace.  It's good.

For instance, if someone is absolutely bad at their job, then they are described as:

"As useless as Anne Frank's drumkit"

  2. If you can't keep your sense of humour during the dark times, then you're done for. I'm sure that Emily is in all of our thoughts. XXXX

    1. I really do believe in the power of prayer, even if the prayer is said by an atheist.

  3. I've given Emily a good 10 minutes. I agree, the power of prayer is amazing, and those said in the trenches are most heartfelt.

  4. God bless you and your family, Tom. It is an amazing phenomenon how grief and humour are entwined -- one cannot endure one without the other.
