I'm just going to have a quick shower, then we're off out into the sun whilst it lasts, to visit a once-a-month flea-market. Maybe I'll bring back a candlestick to show you all - fingers crossed eh?
I will wander between the stalls, giving off a feint aroma of Eau de Cologne which will be seeping from the pores of my skin, having drunk a whole bottle of it last night. People will wonder why I smell so unusually fruity.
Warm and sunny? Sounds heavenly while looking out my window at the snow. Going to a flea market is one of my favorite things to do....have fun hunting, Tom. Hope you find good treasures!
ReplyDeleteI had a good look at that last night too, of course I didn't know it was Jupiter. Here there didn't seem to be much else in the sky.
ReplyDeleteIt looked quite spectacular here too though I wasn't aware that it was Jupiter either. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely picture. We have a saying round here that when the moon is tipped back like that, it's going to be a dry time weather wise. If the moon is tipped it's predicting rain. All this folklore - don't know how much is true.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day at the market.
Oops 3rd line down meant to say - tipped forward and I think I'm talking about a load of bullocks so please ignore previous comment
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty picture, cell phone or not.
ReplyDeleteAs Cathy & Molly have said, that really is a lovely photograph. It looks like an illustration in a very superior children's picture book.
ReplyDeleteNice picture -- and I've been educated as well! Wouldn't have known it was Jupiter.
ReplyDeleteCan almost, but not quite smell that cologne here!
Thanks all - I really hope it actually WAS Jupiter - actually, without checking an astro map, I'm pretty sure it was. I bought a silver copy of a Roman spoon in the flea-markt. You may find it on eBay if you look for it.
