It's not all about farts

I told you I have never grown up...

I met the Canadian Snow Bird team once... sigh...

  1. "Any points... 2 3 4 5 6 8 ? Right. Fuck off then." Makes me proud to be a British wankeur extraordinaire.

TWO Arrows died this year. On a high note, they started using a female pilot who is very good, but she is crap at parking, apparently.

  2. In 1989 I saw one of the Snow Birds crash into Lake Ontario. Then in 1995 I saw an RAF Hawker Siddely Nimrod crash into Lake Ontario....7 killed. Not a big fan of air shows.....specially if they are over Lake Ontario:(

  3. Oops, Mary Ann. I met the Chief (?) Snow Bird pilot in Grand Bend, Ontario, and he gave me a bumper sticker set, and a big poster of ALL the pilots, but they all looked the same because they were wearing sunglasses. He also gave me about 10 gallons of Coors for the evening, but I don't think he paid for it. One of the stickers said, "Get high without drugs". I've never looked down since.

  5. He was sponsored by Coors, so we had to drink it. When he left, he said, "What are you going to do with the rest of your evening?" and I said, "Drink Molson."

  6. Hmmm...not a Molson fan either. They used to be the beer on tap in most places. I did drink Labatt's for awhile but I won't touch the stuff now. There are so many wonderful local micro brews and imported beers...spoiled for choice. Also, my son makes his own beer which is very good:)

  7. I've just remembered - he was sponsored by Labatts, not Coors. That's it for Canadian beers - no wonder you all go crazy in the winter! (and make their own beer...)

  8. I wondered about them being sponsored by Coors as that was an American beer....Yes in the day there was only Molson and Labatt's and O'Keefe....thank goodness things have gotten better:)

  9. Micro breweries are a wonderful thing - especially since most breweries are now more interested in real estate than they are in beer. I didn't see O'Keefe when I was there - any good?

  10. I honestly don't think I drank any of their beers. Carling-Okeefe was around for ages until the late 80's early 90's. They were bought by the Australian company that made Fosters. Then all you saw was Fosters beer everywhere.
