I need you

  1. Love it. When I was about 13, my friend and I made a massive 21st birthday card for George and took it to their house in West London and they let us in to give it to him. We belonged to the Beatles fan club and we still have the wobbly, plastic, silly records that they sent out to everyone. I know every word to every song they ever made.......Ah memories ( sung in a Barbara Striesand sort of way )

  4. My apologies, to Jacqueline (the first). Maybe I am imagining it, but I could have sworn that - a few months ago - I said something to upset you (I'm not trying to rake over old embers here, btw, I really want a peaceful life), and you left a 'good bye forever' comment, then never commented again. Maybe it was your sister? Anyway, it would be very convenient (for me) if you you Jacquelines found a way of making it clearer to me as to your identities - maybe one of you could change your avatar to a picture of a dark-haired man? I really don't mind which one of you does it, and I'll let you argue about that amongst yourselves. (!!! ha ha lol)

For some reason, that Beatles tune came into my head last night, and I found it and posted it up - this was before the reconciliation between me and the animal-hoarder, honest!!! Ha ha, Lol! It was the little, pedal-controlled, George Harrison guitar punctuations that first came into my head, but the whole thing ended up to be quite appropriate.

  5. (p.s. right at the end of that video clip (which I assume is taken from 'Hard Day's Night'), you just catch a glimpse of the actor, Leo McKern wearing an army steel helmet. He used to come into my local (The Bell) every night before he died, drink three large white wine and sodas, then get into his mercedes sports car and drive home to Weston village.

  6. .... how's that ? I didn't change my picture to that of a dark-haired man as, although I have been ' membering ', I do not possess one.

  7. Wait a minute - I am going to have to look up your profile to see which one you are now. Are you the one who finds everything unspeakably beautiful, or the other one?
