... in which ...

... he expresses ...

... his anguish over all the deaths in the Iraq 'war'.

The poor, poor, fellow.

  1. Gosh. In three photos he's turned from fool to diabolical maniac. Could you please explain that first image?

  2. What on earth is he doing in that first photo, and should he be doing that in polite company?

  4. It's a breathalyser, you naughty people. According to his memoir, he turned to drink after he had realised what a humanitarian disaster it was to follow Bush into Iraq.

  5. It's sick, but we Americans were relieved when Mr. Blair acted as Bush's buddy in the war, because the rest of the world hated us so much, it was a sort of relief to have this other leader take some slack. It's too bad Blair couldn't have manned up to Bush and told him the war was wrong, ignoring the UN was wrong, Bush's threats to everyone were wrong. I wonder if the war would have ended sooner if we had had no one to leech off of.

  6. Everyone ended up hating Blair too! That's the one good thing to have come out of it. Blair did all his deals with powerful people BEFORE he got elected.

  7. Have you just seen the Andrew Marr interview? Bravura performance. Like him or loathe him you can see why Chris Mullins in his diaires calls him "The Man".

  9. Amy Saia, your comments are interesting. In Australia, our prime minister was tagged 'Bonzai' because he was a 'little Bush'! And it's funny but he hasn't copped half the flak that Bush and Blair have about engaging in an illegal invasion/ war. (That's MISTER Teflon to you!)
