It's much less complicated than it looks. I was sitting in the near-dark last night, watching a new BBC adaptation of 'Sherlock Holmes' on iPlayer (you can download and watch most BBC stuff for free, all over the world - check it out!) which is set in modern day London. That's Holmes and Watson in the picture. Holmes is played by an actor called Dominic Cummerbatch and I can't remember who Watson is, but in the story, he is a military doctor, just back from Afghanistan. This is the second one - the first one was called 'A study in Pink'. It is a really good and funny adaptation, and each episode lasts for an hour.
Anyway, someone turned the flood-lights on at the nearby Bath Rugby ground, and Her Indoors' wine glass began to refract the light through the faceted stem, producing little rainbows and looking all magical, like. I took a few pictures of it, but my camera is old and not very good, so the picture was hardly worth posting up here, but I did anyway. Sorry.
I'm trying to figure out what this photo signifies. But I gots nothin'. Perhaps I'm not the artistic type. :P Give me a hint!
ReplyDeleteI know it's not Jeremy Brett and Nigel Bruce...is it really Holmes and Watson?
ReplyDeleteBut I've seen that glass and plant somewhere before!
