Tweet of the day

I thought I might be able to relax without any more bloody Tweets from Trump tonight, but guess what? He has sacked ALL of his business advisors now!

This means that there is absolutely no way that he can get U.S. manufacturing back on its feet, which was a key promise for his election.

Now, come on. Let's hear one of you supporters say - yet again - that he should be given a chance to prove himself.

Go on, expose yourself to ridicule - I dare you.

    1. Try turning the radio off for 24 hours.

Write a blog post without mentioning his name.

Just try it. You will be better for it.

  2. I'm more concerned about Corbyn forcing Sarah Champion to resign for speaking out about what she regards is the unpalatable truth about what is happening in her constituency. The appalling Trump is a convenient distraction for UK politicians who should be concentrating on more urgent matters in the UK.

  3. Actually, Tom, his business advisors were resigning right and left in response to his latest outburst praising the "many fine people" who are part of the growing neo-Nazi and KKK groups that are his base. Here's a link to an article:

    2. The link failed. Shit. But you can find it at the Washington Post website under that headline.

  4. If it were simply a matter of domestic politics which didn't affect the rest of the world, then I would love to forget about him and concentrate on the more pressing local issues such as Big Ben being silenced for a few years. Then there would be no point in turning of the radio for 24 hours.

We have taken on American policies and stale TV entertainment for around 70 years now, so don't anyone dare to tell me what or what not to listen to or look at.

    1. I didn't say forget about him. I wasn't dictating what you ahould or shouldn't listen to. I was just trying to find a light way of responding to you.

I would guess that the indusralists resigned due to pressure from their own companies to distance themselves from Trump for commercial reasons.
