  1. Come on Rob - get off the fence and say what you really mean.

    1. There is a cafe here which has a box for staff tips. The note on it used to say, 'Bigger tippers make better lovers', but now reads, 'Every time you leave a tip, God punches Trump in the face.'

  4. And yet, I heard last night that he was ahead in two out of three new polls!!! Who are these people?

    1. The NRA are a very powerful lobby as well. Many of their top brass are businessmen. It would be dangerous to underestimate Trump's chances of actually winning by a small margin, which is why De Niro is ranting in this video. Just remember the way the vote went for Brexit, and how certain people said they would do one thing, then went and did the opposite. Most of them never admitted to it though!

    2. They are mostly young and uneducated. The sort of people Trump wouldn't spit on.

    1. Yes, I thought he was being a bit hard on dogs and pigs by comparing Trump to them too.

  6. It's hard to imagine how anyone could disagree with this. God help us all if Trump becomes President.

    1. Yes - everyone in the world is holding their breath and hoping.

  7. Everybody is making a fool of themselves in the US. The Trump haters are as stupid as the Trump lovers.

    1. In what way are the Trump haters making fools of themselves?

    2. They protesteth too much. Just old your row. He isnt going to win. They can be sure of that now so best just shut up while the going is good and let Hillary the other idiot win.

    3. And de Niro like Eastwood will probably go and vote for him

    4. Well, Rachel, with the above you have disqualified yourself as to be taken seriously when it comes to politics.

Politics is not about "love" or "hate".

As to "he isn't going to win". Tell that to those who voted "leave" for the fun of it and are now, silently, weeping into their hankies.

As to smearing de Niro "probably go and vote for him [Trump]" I dimly remember you making a big play for voting Remain in solidarity with Jo Cox, only to then vote Leave anyway.

    5. You cant beat a bit of pussy to stir up politics.

    6. She has a point, you know. Pussy has always been inextricably linked with politics. It is the abuse of the owners that stirs it up. In France, the male politicians are proud of their bits on the side, In the UK and USA it is just scandal, but not as scandalous as Trump's remarks about his attitude toward it.

    7. The worst thing about Trump holding public office would be that he has demonstrated over and over again that he is utterly incompetent. His advisors have been repeatedly telling him that he has to secure the support of at least 52% of American women, and now this. He is a massive, massive idiot for this reason alone, and I hope that the electorate don't match him in the idiocy stakes.

    8. If Trump could take away votes for women - which he definitely would if he could - he would be home and dry in the White House.

    10. About Brexit voters saying one thing and doing another.

    11. Oh yes, that too. I just went into the booth and didn't know what I was doing and my hand went Leave. Hillary has it made now, Trump doesn't stand a chance.

    12. Both of those things don't sit very well beside each other. You seem so confident that Trump doesn't stand a chance that I am glad you don't have a vote in the U.S. - especially as you cannot seem to control your writing hand.

  8. I couldn't get the sound but by the look on his face he doesn't look all that keen.
I would have thought that after his remarks about women yesterday, no woman worth her salt would vote for him.

    1. As he himself might point out, it is amazing what some women will put up with.

  9. I think all of us 'Trump haters' are just really fucking scared he might win. The man is a terror, and people are actually going to vote for him.

    1. It could be the people who don't vote at all who allow him in.

  10. Tom, you can figure out who the Trump voters are by their lack of commenting. For future reference. It hurts because I really like some of them, but there is no reasoning with them. Hillary is a saint compared to Trump and that they keep attacking her as their reason for voting Trump is unbelievable.
