For Waitrose read Tesco as far as I am concerned. Yes, it is convenient to buy everything under one roof, but there is so much unnecessary packaging, all of which (once you have found out how to remove it (is there a university degree in the subject yet?) goes straight into rubbish. Having seen the recent programmes from India, I fear we are rapidly on our way to the same situation. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2505385214324438018.post-44658050216345794552012-10-12T04:50:36.611-07:002012-10-12T04:50:36.611-07:00It IS now impossible to throw away rubbish. Anything taken to the tip has to pass the Spanish Inquisition before it can be cast into the skip.

Enjoy the facilities offered by Waitrose in Bath. Even before expansion, it made anything south of Exeter look like Waitrose the corner shop. Regularly their website throws one of its wobblies and teases me with every product line listed by Bracknell, about 5% of which I can actually order!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2505385214324438018.post-53623144275697345572012-10-12T04:38:07.822-07:002012-10-12T04:38:07.822-07:00Toronto proudly sent their garbage via truck to De...Toronto proudly sent their garbage via truck to Detroit for several years (a 7 hour return trip) but not, even Detroit doesn't want it. They fed the old-style non-sorted rubbish in at one end, and it came out the other end all sorted and ready to be sold on. I believe the plant paid for itself. I wonder what happened?Cro Magnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06840670227576695352noreply@blogger.com
