Having a ball!
This is a first for me, because I am posting this up on my new tablet, all the way from Tess Kincaid's Willow Manor Ball.
As thoughtful as ever, Tess has planned the ball to last for an entire 24 hours, so that us on the other side of the world have a few extra hours to get over our jet-lag, with the help of chips, ketchup (catch-up?) and a rather deceptive hot punch which tastes of nothing but fruit-juice.
If anything, this ball is even better than last year's, and people are still arriving even though the doors have been open for quite a while now. I have rummaged through my wardrobe and managed to find something which still fits me after all these years and my guest is none other than Grace Jones. Grace is all oiled up and ready to go, so I had better get back to her before she gives me the Russell Harty treatment.
See you in the kitchen!

Ahhhh....the Deceptive Punch.............
ReplyDeleteBeen there.
:D
I have never been to a ball in my life, however the 50th birthday party my kids threw for me came close. I could have made it to THIS ball if you had bothered to invite me but since you haven't...I am forced to spend another droll Sunday on the pig farm.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I was allowed to take a fellow blogger, Donna. You could have taken a pig.
DeleteEat away! You are going to need the ernergy me thinks.
ReplyDeleteThis ketchup is not very sustaining.
DeleteGrace! I do hope she poses around this evening...her body is truly a piece of art...nice to see you at the ball, Tom...
ReplyDeleteI had better get home before the storm hits...
DeleteSo glad to hear it wasn't a drag...
ReplyDelete...less is best when you have a bod like that! :) Yes, the punch is quite deceptive.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure she still has, Margaret.
DeleteYou and Grace are by far the best dancers at the ball. I'm amazed that you're still dancing, after all these hours. Such energy!
ReplyDeleteI just stand on her feet and let her do all the work.
DeleteYour date was devine!!
ReplyDeleteDangerous, though.
DeleteThat is grace with a capital G...Grace by name and nature! :)
