Bury my heart

About 16 years ago, my knee swelled up for the first time and I showed it to H.I. who got out a make-up pencil and drew this rather charming face on it.

A little later, the young Green-Eyes came round and asked to see my injured knee, so I showed her both of them with a towel wrapped around my waist.

She looked for a while, then asked, "Which one is the normal one?"

    1. I haven't had it for a while, but it lasted for - on and off - over ten years.

  4. I am still suffering virtual Ptsd from your Volvo crash. And how are you now?? Felt so bad for you. We have the same model I think
(940?) Anyway alike enough to cause collywobbles. But also reassured at how well it coped in a crash. Take care my friend and good luck in finding another wonderful old Volvo!xx

    1. It was an 850, but pretty much the same as yours. After seeing the pictures, some people said that they were going to get Volvos. I had slightly aching elbows for a week, but other than that, nothing.

  5. Lady M is suffering from something similar at the moment, but I have yet to draw a face on it!

  6. Presumably, as it was your true love who drew that face, you have never washed your knee since???

    1. I washed my face. P.S. I can receive emails from you, Weave, but BT will not let me send any to you without doing something to my account which I cannot - as yet - understand. Could you send me your new address so I can send you a card please?
