Bluebell woods or a dark workshop?

This computer is like my workshop - I search for hours in vain for something, then I find something else that I was looking for earlier.

I was looking for a bit of 270 year-old graffiti scratched into the wall of a house here by someone called Richard one Good Friday, but found this rainbow over St Ives instead. It is a genuine photo. I know because I took it.

Then I found the photo (below) of a slice of Cotham Marble cut and polished by me from that tonnage I told you about before Jim Broadbent. I am told there is a similar formation in Italy which looks like elephants marching in line, each one holding on to the tail of the other with its trunk.

I have often thought about spending a year or two making a Pietra Jura table using material like this - have you seen the antique marble ones in Italy? The trouble is that I cannot afford the couple of years doing nothing else unless someone finances it.

Those ranks of chocolate bunnies - H.I. bought me one yesterday and today there is not much left of it...

I have two options for today - one is to go to work and the other is to visit a bluebell wood which must be looking very pretty by now.

  2. Never put off today what you wouldn't have put off yesterday. Something like that.

  3. Yes, go see the bluebells; work is an every day thing, bluebells are not!
Beautiful rainbow picture, there's definitely a pot of gold under there somewhere!

    1. Sea water contains a lot of gold, but it costs more to extract it than you would get by selling it.

  4. That piece of marble is beautiful. If you squint and let your eyes go a little bit blurry it looks like a lake reflecting trees.
