Get you with your panoramic facility !!!!! Good to know that you will still be able to eat meat ..... there's still a couple of days to go as well !! XXXX
Yes, I know. And there is still the packing of unsold stuff, driving it away and carrying up 3 flights of stairs to go too - at night. hen that's done, I have a very urgent deadline on one job, and this has to be done by Wednesday. Then I might take the rest of the year off...
It got quite a bit f sleep - I had to conserve the battery because it refused to charge properly last night - bloody thing. I spend more time obsessing about the battery on it than I do anything else. Bloody thing.
I'm looking at the shelves behind the counter. The top one with the shell top is so interesting. Is that original woodwork? Wishing you a good ending to the show. If someone comes in at the close, stay open. Just saying.
Yes, the shell alcove is an original early 18th century feature. I would imagine it was for glasses in a dining room. This street has more than one of the same surviving in it.
To the right of this building is the Great Bath on the other side of a small road. Where the road is now was a grand 17th century house which was demolished for the baths. Decorative bits of the front of the mansion are stacked up in the basement of the Roman Baths.
Beautiful, also the building from the outside.
ReplyDeleteYes it is, Yael. It's just a shame that H.I.'s paintings are obscuring the 18th century woodwork.
DeleteEmbiggen it for best results. Latest update: 8 paintings, 1 drawing and 2 t-shirts sold. We can carry on eating.

If you were responsible for the framing and hanging etc, then I would say that 'the boy done good'.
ReplyDeleteAll the framing was done by a small company here called the Meltone Gallery. I did all the hanging, though...
