  1. I used to frequent a pub' in Clymping West Sussex, where the juke box had nothing but Jimmy Shand records. I suppose the landlord was amongst his small handful of fans.

  2. I remember when no New Year's BBC TV was complete(?) without Jimmy Shand and his band, and a singer Andy something or other. They were terrible programmes - all false bonhomie and "och aye the noos" !!
