I used to frequent a pub' in Clymping West Sussex, where the juke box had nothing but Jimmy Shand records. I suppose the landlord was amongst his small handful of fans.
I remember when no New Year's BBC TV was complete(?) without Jimmy Shand and his band, and a singer Andy something or other. They were terrible programmes - all false bonhomie and "och aye the noos" !!
I was just about to ask you what you were talking about, when I got a security message instead of this reply box. I don't know what's going on, but I have changed my password just in case. I think it may be because I logged in from my phone last week, and the account doesn't recognise it. Let me know if you have any more trouble. Happy New Year to you too!
"Quai Hai! Wind up your kilt! Haggis in you sporran! Don't tell 'em nothin', make 'em buy a programme" - Colin Crompton, Wheel tappers and shunters club ;-)
Andy Stewart, The White Heather Club, bringing in the New Year in the 60's !! It was soooooooo boring until I was old enough to go out and enjoy myself. ' Donald Where's Your Trooser's ' !!!! Happy 2016 Tom. XXXX
