Oi! Get yer hands off my cock!
I depend on that thing to know where the wind's coming from!
Oh, he's just giving it a bit of a grease-up.
And there's always time for a selfie before you go back down.
Before he did go back down, he gave it one last, fast spin through 360 degrees. It's not very often you see weather-vanes do that on their own.
Excellent series Tom!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise he was taking a selfie until I looked closely. Lucky timing.
DeleteWhen a cock does a 360 on its own you know there is going to be trouble.
DeleteThe Exorcist.
DeleteI wonder what his job title is?
ReplyDeleteSteeplejack.
DeleteRather him up there than me thank you.
ReplyDeleteRather me than you too.
DeleteWell captured.
ReplyDeleteYes, he kept a firm grip before it had a chance to fly off.
DeleteThat is a beautiful piece of architecture.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the best church in Bath, but it is the second most photographed. That church has been rebuilt 3 times since medieval times. It is called, St Michael Without, meaning that it is without the city walls.
DeleteI is also (i believe) the only church in the country not to be built on an East/West axis.
DeleteI shall now go and have a couple of paracetamol for my vertigo.
ReplyDeleteThat must be hard to have vertigo. Thankfully, I have only suffered once, but I was just about to fall off a cliff anyway, so it was justified.
DeleteI feel sick
ReplyDeleteCan I share the bag?
DeleteYou could vomit on 1/3rd of the population of Bath from up there. Normally it is only Peregrine Falcons who get up there.
DeleteI sent the photos to the steeplejack company, and they love them. My only fear was that I would get him into trouble for taking a selfie on the job.
Or even 'on the job' whilst taking a selfie.
DeleteOr either.
